About Journal

Journal of English for Specific Praxis (JESPP) is a free, peer-reviewed, open access, quarterly, electronically published journal. In fact, JESPP is dedicated to publish articles that enhance the understanding of English language teaching and learning processes for specific purposes in both EFL and ESL contexts and welcomes submissions across the world. Discourse specific communities such as academic, occupational, or diversely specialized are expected from the authors who wish to submit articles. In relation with the scope of the JESPP, up-to-date and exclusive research articles, book reviews, and proceedings having method and subject novelty will also be embraced.

The research articles can be based on first-hand experience, documents, meta-data, observation, and knowledge of policymakers, curriculum designers, practitioners, and researchers in order to form an international matter of discussion for all those working in the field of both ESP and EAP.

All papers in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing (double-blind peer reviewed) by at least two anonymous referees.

JESPP covers a wide range of topics related to English for Specific Purposes, including Language acquisitions studies in EAP or ESP as well as EFL or ESL contexts, materials evaluation, adaptation and development, discourse and translation studies, ESP for specific professions and industries, such as aeronautics, aviation, electronics, computer engineering, business, medicine, law, etc.
